The relationship between Christian spirituality and liturgy is inseparable. The aim of this study is to present the concept of pietas liturgica (liturgical spirituality), as well as its significance and foundational role in the spiritual life. Personal religiosity itself flows from this liturgical spirituality. It is evident that this form of spirituality finds both its source and summit in liturgical celebration. The article traces the fascinating historical development of liturgical celebration. In this context, special attention is given to the efforts of the representatives of the Liturgical Movement and to the Church Fathers who followed them, reviving awareness of the importance of liturgical spirituality. The study also highlights the characteristic features of pietas liturgica and examines, within this framework, the threefold dimension of liturgical spirituality, particularly its ecclesiological and Christological aspects. Furthermore, it addresses the Mariological dimension, which becomes evident through the Marian feasts celebrated by the Church throughout the liturgical year. The study employs an analytical method and processes the topic through the application of the insights thus obtained.
