Abstract

The article examines altar service as an important space for the formation of priestly vocations. It emphasizes that service at the altar is not merely a liturgical function, but also a formative experience that nurtures responsibility, community belonging, spiritual sensitivity, and openness to the transcendent. The study highlights the role of the family, the parish community, and especially the priest as a credible model in helping young people discover and develop a possible vocation. Altar service is presented as a “nursery” in which the seeds of future priestly vocations may grow through guidance, encouragement, and lived faith.
