About the Journal

Studia Theologica Transsylvaniensia (StThTr) is a peer-reviewed, open access theological journal from the Department of Roman Catholic Pastoral Theology at Babeș-Bolyai University (Roman Catholic Theological Institute of Alba Iulia). It has been published since 2000, biannually until 2022, and annually thereafter by Jel Könyvkiadó in Budapest.  In the spirit of interdisciplinary dialogue, the journal regularly includes studies and book reviews on biblical, historical, systematic, and practical theology, as well as research from related disciplines. Starting from 2024, the journal is supplemented by a series of doctoral dissertations, edited volumes, and scholarly monographs (StThTr Supplementum).
