About the Journal
Aims and Scope
Studia Theologica Transsylvaniensia (StThTr) publishes original research articles and critical book reviews across the broad field of theology. Rooted in the multicultural and multiconfessional context of Transylvania, the journal seeks to provide a scholarly forum for ecumenical, interdisciplinary, and international dialogue within the Christian tradition.
The journal welcomes submissions primarily in biblical studies, patristics, church history, canon law, systematic theology, moral theology, and practical theology. It also considers contributions from related disciplines, provided that they make a substantive contribution to theological scholarship.
Manuscripts are considered for publication only if they formulate a clear research question or present previously unpublished sources; demonstrate sound methodological grounding; and fall within the scholarly profile of the journal.
Critical book reviews published in the journal discuss recent scholarly publications that are of relevance and interest to the journal’s readership.
